Oracle partner Inoapps vows to save firms 33% in the cloud

Oracle MSP Inoapps is offering its on-premise and apps customers reduced operational costs when they move to Oracle cloud, with the introduction of its "33% Saving or For Free" offer.

If, when a customer moves to the cloud with Inoapps, they discover their implementation doesn't cost a third less, the MSP will run the customer's workloads for free for six months when they sign a three or five year agreement.

The initiative has been developed to encourage customers sceptical about the costs of the cloud to test out Oracle's cloud services, without cost concerns.

“There are significant numbers of Oracle on-premises customers who could exploit the savings available from moving to a modern Managed Service infrastructure in the Cloud, but who need a risk free path to making the transition," Andy Bird, CEO of Inoapps said.

"Our offer achieves this and more than just a traditional shift to Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). With Inoapps, users can now readily buy and deploy Oracle Cloud infrastructure anywhere in the world, wrapped up in a full Inoapps MSP solution."

Although the MSP promises to cut costs for end-users, migration costs related to moving to the cloud are excluded from the deal - it's only operational costs the company promises to cut.

"We offer everything needed to migrate, modernise and manage their Oracle workloads," Bird added. "And we are so confident of making significant savings that we guarantee to reduce the customer’s overall costs by 33%, or we will run their Oracle workloads for free. For the user there is no risk, just savings.”

To try out Inoapps' Oracle cloud, customers must complete an eligibility assessment, then an Inoapps architect will design the solution and services. When both parties are happy with the projected model, a contract will be signed and a proof of concept created. The last two stages are migrating non-production environments and finally production environments.
