Citrix has announced a re-shuffle of its leadership team, to help push the company towards better cloud support for both partners and customers.

Ex-EMEA partner chief Eric Kline has been promoted to COO of the company’s EMEA’s division, with his old role taken by senior director of distribution and mid-market EMEA, Daren Finney.

Lee Hughes has been appointed vice president of networking in EMEA, moving on from his position as managing director of EMEA Professional Services.

Before joining Citrix almost 20 years ago, Kline worked as a consultant at Innovex Group, before joining Citrix as a consultant in 2000. He’s moved through the ranks at the company, including working in positions such as vice president of sales and services in Western Europe and later Southern Europe too.

Darren Finney has been working in the channel industry for more than 25 years. He began his career at Toshiba and has held senior channel-led management roles at Lenovo and Symantec before joining Citrix in 2017.

Lee Hughes has been at Citrix for a just over a year. He too has extensive channel experience, including a number of jobs at HP Enterprise and Computacenter.

“Cloud complexity – and adjusting to the related new processes and business models – is a challenge to partner and customer businesses alike,” said Sherif Seddik, senior vice president and managing director EMEA at Citrix.

“By taking a more focused approach on our sales execution, partner enablement, and developing our Networking business puts Citrix in the best position to drive cloud transformation and all the benefits it brings. I’m pleased to have such talented people at Citrix to fill these kinds of roles internally, allowing the company to deliver what our customers need as fast as possible.”
