Cloud Distribution has recruited a new technical manager to bridge the gap between the firm’s vendors and channel partners.
According to the distributor, James Ball (pictured) joins the company with more than 15 years’ experience in the computer network industry, leading state-of-the-art infrastructure projects throughout the world, as well as undertaking projects with several United Nations and international public health organisations.
Ball describes Cloud Distribution’s technology portfolio as “extremely impressive”. He says: “Looking at Meraki’s line alone, the ease of deployment and product management it offers just isn’t available from other leading wireless LANs.
“Similarly, Peplink is a lot more cost-effective than the competition and the licensing model is much better. Cloud Distribution really is going from strength to strength and I am delighted to be on board to help take the company to the next level.”
Scott Dobson, managing director of Cloud Distribution, who has previously worked with Ball, says the new recruit has “an impressive skill set and can effectively translate business needs into technical solutions.”
