Outsourcery has confirmed that Insight UK managing director Emma de Sousa is to take over the MD job at the Manchester-based cloud service provider.

Insight announced de Sousa’s departure yesterday. The firm said she will stay on for the next five months to help find her successor.

De Sousa (pictured) joined Insight in 2003 and has held a variety of positions within that firm, including operations director for EMEA, managing director of Germany and regional VP of Southern Europe.

The appointment will take effect on April 1, 2016.

“We are delighted to announce Emma’s appointment,” says Outsourcery CEO, Piers Linney. “I have no doubt that Emma’s extensive experience and strong track record will prove to be of immense value to the business as we look to further develop our go-to-market activities for the public and commercial sectors. There is a great opportunity ahead for our Skype for Business and IaaS solutions and I am confident Emma can drive our sales strategy in areas where Outsourcery has a clear competitive advantage.”

De Sousa describes Outsourcery as having “fantastic capabilities with a proven track-record of helping customers transform their businesses, reduce costs and improve productivity.”

She adds: “There is a substantial market opportunity in this area and I look forward to leading the strategic initiatives that will see Outsourcery accelerate growth and increase market share.”
