Cloud infrastructure and hosted IT provider Savvis has announced the appointment of Andrew Humphrey as EMEA alliances director, where he will oversee Savvis’ relationship with its partners.
Humphrey (pictured) joins Savvis from Phoenix IT Services, where he established its hosting business unit, selling cloud services and colocation space.
“Savvis has already created some outstanding strategic alliances with major firms such as Virgin Media,” says Humphrey. “I am excited to join a team that will build on these successes and on Savvis’ reputation as the cloud provider’s cloud provider. I look forward to helping the company realise its ambitions as we expand within the United Kingdom and into mainland Europe.”
