Re:Invent 2021: Zerto unveils its disaster recovery solution for AWS
Zerto In-Cloud for AWS automates on-premises and cloud failover, recovery, and testing workflows

Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Zerto has announced its disaster recovery (DR) solution for Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Zerto In-Cloud for AWS offers cloud-native security for over 1,000 Amazon Elastic Compute Clouds (Amazon EC2) instances and is available across regions, availability zones, and accounts.
Revealed at AWS Re:Invent 2021, the solution streamlines the protection of enterprise AWS applications through automated workflows for failover, recovery, and testing.
“Organizations that run workloads in Amazon EC2 instances need to protect them with a simple and scalable disaster recovery solution. The challenge with available solutions is that they are either agent-based, require heavy manual configuration and management, are limited in regional coverage, or do not easily integrate with automation tools,” explained Zerto.
Zerto In-Cloud for AWS provides organizations with improved volume replication across regions and zones and facilitates the creation of orchestration workflows that minimize data loss. With API-centric management, this DR solution integrates seamlessly with end users' automation tools of choice to simplify workload protection.
Additionally, automated failover testing allows uninterrupted testing of all instances in an AWS region or availability zone, validating recovery procedures at all times. For rapid recovery from regional outages, Zerto In-Cloud for AWS management components can be run from any Amazon EC2 region. Businesses can also enable protection groups across multiple instances in AWS.
