Change Healthcare unveils its cloud-native medical imaging solution
PACS by Change Healthcare helps radiologists better evaluate medical scans
Change Healthcare has announced its new cloud-native software as a service (SaaS) solution for radiology practitioners.
Dubbed picture archiving and communication system (PACS), the new solution offers advanced image analysis for CT and MRI scans. PACS also helps radiologists build custom workflows to manage communications and resolve interruptions.

The application adds to Change Healthcare’s Stratus Imaging cloud solution suite.PACS, which is currently in beta testing, will be extended to hospitals in the future.

Change Healthcare also announced plans to consolidate its cloud-native enterprise imaging solutions under the category name Change Healthcare Stratus Imaging.
Exclusively designed for medical imaging, Change Healthcare’s Anatomical AI algorithm, which it recently earned FDA approval for, accurately outlines body parts via image pixels, eliminating the barriers posed by inaccurate or incomplete metadata.

The algorithm is currently available as an on-premises solution through Change Healthcare Radiology Solutions, and will be installed in Stratus Imaging's cloud-based solution suite in future releases.
