RES Software adds Prianto to line-up

RES Software says it has rounded out its two-tier channel strategy for the UK with the appointment of distributor Prianto.

The firm says Prianto’s focus on the virtualisation and application availability markets will provide its partners with access to new market opportunities, as well as growing the RES Software partner base.

Prianto will provide resellers with specialist support and technical expertise around RES Software solutions for workspace management and automation across virtual and physical IT environments. RES Software has stressed it wants Prianto to reduce the amount of time it takes for resellers to get trained up on its technology.

Explains Chris Hammans, regional VP Northern Europe for RES Software (pictured): “Working with Prianto, we expect to reduce the time needed for new partners to take our solutions out to market by 50 percent, as well as to assist existing partners with virtualisation sales opportunities. This appointment rounds out our distribution strategy for the UK extremely well.”

Prianto has a number of complementary technology vendors in its portfolio, and already works with RES Software technology partners such as Citrix and VMware.
