With tablet sales continuing to grow, everyone wants a piece of the action. Retailers such as Argos and Tesco were the latest firms to provide their own branded tablet. However, it's the usual suspects which continue to dominant the landscape.
Windows 8 tablets have struggled to compete in the face of smaller and long-lasting iOS and Android rivals. The Latitude 10 was one of the best using the Microsoft operating system. It packed good battery life, a host of peripherals and the full Windows 8 Pro OS.

Apple's tablet is still king of the benchmark when it comes to design, applications and battery life. The Air took design to the next level, with Apple downsizing the weight, and reducing the size of the battery without denting its longevity.

The second generation Nexus 7 continues to be the Android tablet to beat - with a small 7in form factor, crystal clear display and an affordable 199 price point.
The device also gets the benefit of shipping with plain version of Android and is the first to get upgrades directly from Google.
