Sage Life collaboration tool embraces devices and wearables
Salesforce and Sage have partnered up to offer a total collaboration and social ecosystem for businesses

Sage and Salesforce have partnered up to offer Sage Life, an all-in-one collaboration and social platform that claims to make communication with colleagues and clients as easy as updating a Facebook feed.
The platform unifies a business's customer, accounting, payroll and finance data to provide the insights they need to make key business decisions and share insights with the rest of the company.
Its Mobile Control Centre ensures employees can see this data in real time, too, the firns claimed.
The tool has been built on Salesforce1, meaning it runs completely in the cloud, working cross-device, whether you're using it from your computer, smartphone, tablet or even a smartwatch.
"Together with Salesforce, Sage is shaping the future of small business. Small business software no longer has to represent different systems or layers of complexity it'll be simple, collaborative, and real time," said Stephen Kelly, CEO of Sage.
"With Sage Life, we are delivering social, mobile, cloud-based innovation, powered by real-time accounting. Now running a small business can be as easy as updating your Facebook status."
Sage and Salesforce announced they would be partnering up earlier this year, although it wasn't revealed in what capacity they would be working together.

Marc Benioff, chairman and CEO at Salesforce said: "I'm excited about the opportunity this partnership creates for our customers. Together, Sage and Salesforce are empowering fast growing companies to run their businesses on the world's #1 enterprise cloud platform."
"What this does is give every employee real-time information on the Apple watch or the device of their choice. It's as important to SMBs as the iPod was to consumers," added Kelly.
