Bridging the DevSecOps divide: Spotlight on key relationships
The importance of relationships between security and development

It’s no secret that security and development teams do not see eye-to-eye. But is that the end of the story? Absolutely not.

According to a recent commissioned study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of VMware, the consequences of these negative relationships can have a big impact on the teams’ ability to meet goals, the culture of the organisation, and the security and innovation each one is striving for. This dichotomy–if left unresolved–will continue to sabotage the agility and security that both teams work hard to provide.
