HP’s new print solutions support a hybrid workforce
New printing solutions enable workers to print securely at home or in the office

HP has announced the expansion of its managed print services portfolio with four new offerings: HP Wolf Security, Flexworker, Internet Printing through HP Advance, and HP Secure Print.
Incorporated into HP Wolf Security are state-of-the-art technologies, including hardware-enforced endpoint security to reduce the burden on IT. In addition to aggressively reducing the attack surface, discovering threats in memory, and containing them with virtualization technologies, HP Wolf Security protects businesses by enhancing threat data collection and delivering high-fidelity alerts.
“The existing business transformation trends around cloud, as-a-service, and security have seen significant acceleration over the past year,” said George Brasher, general manager and global head of print services and solutions at HP.
“In this hybrid world, where workers are distributed and the risk of cyberattacks has skyrocketed, we see businesses needing scalable and flexible printing solutions that are both secure and manageable.”
Flexworker is HP's cloud-based printing solution for hybrid workforces. Integrated into HP Wolf Security, Flexworker offers hybrid workers the flexibility to use secure, company-approved printers from home, boosting productivity.
Additionally, HP Flexworker lets organizations monitor up to 15 essential security settings on devices. A dedicated HP Security Manager continuously evaluates and remediates any devices that are not secure or in compliance with enterprise policies.

Internet Printing through HP Advance is HP’s third offering. An integrated platform for capture, print, and output management, the service features steadfast encryption and authentication mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 with OpenID connect for Azure AD. Most notably, the service enables employees to print from home or at work conveniently and securely.
HP also announced the compatibility of HP Secure Print with Universal Print, enabling authentication before printing documents. Analytics can be accessed for all print operations via HP Secure Print.
