“Desktop volumes through Context’s UK distributor panel declined year-on-year in March 2016 but a number of vendors were still able to leverage an end-of-fiscal-year push in sales to business users during the month,” says Context senior analyst, Marie-Christine Pygott.
“HP, accounting for 8 out of the 10 top-selling SKUs, saw volume sales up year-on-year in March to both the SMB and corporate reseller channels. Dell also posted an increase in desktop sales to business users.
“Acer, holding the No. 8 spot in the March list of top sellers, benefited from competitive pricing on sales into retail of its compact Aspire XC-704 Desktop.”
