Dell lowers deal threshold again

Dell building

Dell has today revealed it has lowered the deal value threshold for PartnerDirect Deal Registration from the £20,000 announced in July to £10,000.

The new threshold applies to all deals covering Dell’s full range of products, including desktops, notebooks, servers and imaging products. Since the initial threshold reduction in July, Dell has seen a 30 percent increase in deal registration volumes. The vendor also says approval rates remain high – on average Dell approves in excess of 70 percent of submitted deals.

Says Radek Kokot, acting Dell EMEA channel marketing & programmes director: “Listening to our partners is a fundamental aspect of our PartnerDirect programme and they clearly indicated they would benefit from a further reduction in Deal Registration. This now allows partners to receive the best offers at the best prices, ultimately increasing the satisfaction of their customers.”

Simon Grosse, sales director at Dell partner Foundation IT, comments: “Dell’s PartnerDirect programme has been instrumental in helping us sign-off deals with customers across the UK. We believe this further lowering of the deal registration threshold will be very beneficial to us and also provides our customers with more choice and value.”
