Rob Brown to drive new OKI managed print services

MFP printing

OKI Printing Solutions has appointed Rob Brown as UK business manager for managed print services.

“We expect the future of business printing to be increasingly driven by a managed service mindset,” says Graham Lowes, marketing director. “With many businesses focusing on controlling costs and reducing their carbon footprint, there is an ever-increasing demand to deliver managed print solutions. OKI has developed a product portfolio that meets the wide-ranging needs of end users, whether they are looking to implement a single device or a complete managed print solution.

“Rob’s extensive experience in business development, sales and marketing, coupled with his skills in identifying opportunities and building relationships at all levels make him ideally suited to this key new role,” he adds.

Brown says: “I see my role as defining OKI’s managed print offering in the UK and taking responsibility for its core elements from administration to marketing to logistics.

“However, the key to OKI’s success in this sector will be how we engage with customers,” he adds. “We need to listen to their pain points, assess and identify their requirements and provide them with a bespoke tailored solution that fits those needs both today and in the future.”

Brown joined OKI Printing Solutions as a senior account manager for sales in 2007. Previously, he was a UK corporate account manager for the public sector at Lexmark and prior to that business development manager at Epson UK.
