Lexmark (NYSE: LXK) has named Paul Callow as its new supplies sales & marketing director.

Callow, who will head up the company’s supplies operations in the UK & Ireland, joined Lexmark in April 2008. Since then he has created a single marketing team, unifying the laser and inkjet departments, and introduced a channel trading structure which has been well received by dealers and distributors.

In his new position, Callow will perform a central role in the management of customer requirements and channel relations. Callow previously spent five five years at Brother, where he managed the organisation’s UK supplies, prior to joining Lexmark.

“The great success Paul has had within Lexmark so far makes him ideal for this supplies role,”says Steve Purdy, country general manager, Lexmark UK. “His experience in similar roles, and knowledge of the channel, will ensure that he drives sales and revenue growth. Lexmark’s customer and channel relationships are paramount to the business, and they are in safe hands with Paul at the helm.”
