Lexmark has given Paul Callow the task of ‘re-energising’ its channel as its new as ISD & channel director, UK & Ireland.
Under his management, Lexmark will launch a refreshed channel programme, designed to “incentivise partners with promotions and rewards for dealers and to help encourage loyalty and sales growth from end-users.”
Under Callow’s direction, Lexmark is set to increase its 40 Lexmark Value Print dedicated dealers by 50 per cent by the close of 2010. Further, Callow intends to develop a much deeper strategic relationship with a core group of ‘Expert’ and ‘Premium’ dealers, who will be instrumental in helping to increase Lexmark’s presence in the SMB, enterprise and education sectors.
“Paul has spent years getting under the skin of distributors and dealers in his marketing and channel roles, so he was the natural choice for this position,” explains Steve Purdy, country general manager at Lexmark UK. “As importantly for our plans at Lexmark, Paul understands how we can stabilise the channel, allowing dealers to take full advantage of our revamped channel support programme, grow our reseller base, and nurture the green shoots starting to come through from the hard work of the last twelve months.”
Lexmark are due to reveal details of the incentives next week.
