Altodigital heads into the West

Acquisition sign

Altodigital, one of the UK’s largest resellers of print and document solutions, has announced the acquisition of Bristol-based office equipment companies, Fusion Business Systems Ltd and Fusion Business Services Ltd.

The move is part of Altodigital’s strategy to grow its presence in the South West, according to the firm. Says Dave Gibson, managing director of Altodigital: “With the already-established Bristol team and the new additions from Fusion – all of whom are staying with us – I am confident we will continue to grow significantly in this area and offer customers in the region added-value solutions and greater choice.”

Adds Howard Eagland, director at Fusion: “This acquisition offers huge potential for the Fusion businesses to continue to grow and develop as part of a much larger group.

“We’re looking forward to working with Altodigital and continuing to offer businesses in the South West best-in-class document management and print solutions.”

Formed in 2001, Fusion is a Sharp and Samsung authorised dealer, specialising in the sale and support of office equipment and solutions, with particular focus on document management and scanning.

From April 2013, Fusion will rebrand as Altodigital.
