OKI names Nick Munton UK sales director

Director of company

In a move that strengthens its senior management team, OKI has appointed Nick Munton as its new UK sales director.

Munton’s focus will be on strengthening the company’s managed print service (MPS) strategy and its presence in the corporate and e-commerce marketplaces, as well as building on OKI’s existing relationships with its executive series (ES) dealers.

Says Munton: “My key priority is to go to the market with a world-class MPS and corporate proposition, which we shall be working hard to develop and deliver through our reseller partners.

“My broad experience in the printing solutions sector makes me well suited to push through a channel recruitment drive and to go out into the market and win new MPS and corporate accounts which we can then use to strengthen our relationship with resellers and dealers.”

Before joining OKI, Munton ran commercial sales at Konica Minolta, where he was responsible for bringing in more than 65 percent of the company’s commercial revenue. Prior to that he spent more than four years as regional director at Toshiba, and before that he was sales manager at Konica UK.

Phil Scrase, UK managing director, OKI Printing Solutions says: “I am confident that Nick’s experience and expertise in business development and winning new clients will help us to build further on our recent momentum and drive competitive edge.”
