Danish manufacturer of gaming peripherals and accessories, SteelSeries, has made its play into the UK with the signing of component distributor, Enta Technologies.

SteelSeries is a well-known gaming peripheral brand in Scandinavia, targeting the pro-gamer audience, and has now revealed plans to grab market share in the UK. It already has a distirbution agreement with Interactive Ideas in place.

“We’ve seen substantial growth in the UK professional gaming arena,” explains Steen Ronholt, SteelSeries VP of sales. “We know the SteelSeries brand already has a strong UK audience thanks to the close knit online gaming community, however until now, there have been few places to purchase. With Enta Technologies as our new distributing partner, we are really able to tackle the UK market.”

Chris Elt, SteelSeries’ newly appointed UK sales manager, and responsible for signing Enta as SteelSeries’ second major distributor, says: “SteelSeries is a solid brand and with the right focus it has huge potential in the UK. I’m ecstatic about working with such a dynamic, enthusiastic and knowledgeable company.”

“The competition better watch out!” adds John Atherton, VP, Enta Technologies.

SteelSeries’ recently announced XAI mouse and the second edition of its Siberia headset, the Siberia v2, will be available at the end of October. SteelSeries’ entire product range will be available from distribution immediately.
