Jabra has appointed Suzaan Sauerman to head up its marketing and channel sales strategy in EMEA and APAC, focusing on reinforcing the vendor’s position in the hands-free headset market.
The firm says Sauerman, who has over ten years’ experience working in the telecoms sector, will drive high impact marketing programmes, establishing strategic channel partnerships and manage PR and communications teams in countries within the EMEA and APAC regions.
Sauerman joins Jabra from Motorola, where she worked for nine years in roles as director of channel management EMEA and channel marketing director EMEA. Prior to this, she held a number of other PR and marketing roles, including channel programme manager specialist at T-Mobile.
Based in Jabra’s headquarters in Denmark, Sauerman will report directly to Viggo Olsen, general manager, JABRA EMEA Mobile, who comments: “Suzaan has proven her ability to devise and implement channel, sales and marketing plans that can really make an impact for global telecommunications brands. With the right combination of market knowledge, experience and creative flair I’m confident she will drive success for Jabra across multiple regions.”
