Microsoft is reportedly preparing to launch its Surface Book 3 and Surface Go 2 devices in May.
The company will use Intel's latest 10th-generation processor on the Surface Book 3, according to retailer leaks, which also suggests the device will come with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
What's more, there is a suggestion that Microsoft is switching to Nvidia's Quadro graphic cards in some models, which could mean the device is more geared towards designers and engineers that rely on a powerful GPU that is optimised for a number of pro apps.
The Surface Go 2 will reportedly be available in two models, one with an Intel Core m3 and another with an Intel Pentium Gold processor. Both models will include a larger display at 10.5 inches, according to Windows Central, with smaller bezels similar to the Surface Laptop 3.
There are reported similarities in size to the original Surface Go, suggesting that existing accessories will work on the second-generation model. What's more, the Intel Core m3 model also reportedly includes 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage, and an optional LTE connectivity.
Microsoft is also gearing up to release a Surface Dock 2, according to German site Dr.Windows.de, with an updated port selection and a reported 200W output. It is also reported that a separate 125W charger for the Surface Book 3 is in the works.
Microsoft is planning to unveil its new Surface hardware next month, according to The Verge, which cites sources familiar with the company. However, those plans could change due to the current coronavirus pandemic, but the models have reportedly been in development for some time.
