Tech Data to distribute MSI’s gaming laptop range
New distribution partnership aims to extend MSI’s reach across the UK
Tech Data has partnered up with MSI to distribute the solution provider’s range of gaming laptops aimed at consumers and education customers.
The new partnership has been designed to give retailers and webstores access to Tech Data’s strengths in stockholding, logistics, business development, as well as credit and financial services, the firm said in an announcement.
The distribution giant will work with MSI partners and aims to extend the vendor’s reach into the gaming and education markets through its network of partners across the UK.
Jay Allen, business unit manager for PC Systems, UK & Ireland, Tech Data, said the collaboration will help drive growth for specialist retailers.
“MSI’s gaming laptops have a reputation for top performance, distinctive looks, quality, and reliability,” he said. “It’s a fantastic addition to our portfolio and this agreement enables specialist retailer and webstore partners to take advantage of our exceptional distribution services and expert marketing and business development capabilities to support their growth ambitions.
“With the meteoric growth of PC gaming and eSports – especially in education – there are great opportunities out there, so this is the perfect time for Tech Data to give partners an extended choice of options.”
MSI specialises in providing gaming, content creation, business and productivity, and AIoT solutions to more than 120 countries around the world. An established brand in PC gaming, the firm says its systems are designed to meet the particular needs of mobile and desktop gamers as well as professional users thanks to its rigorous quality controls.
