NetScout Systems (NASDAQ:NTCT) has added another distributor to its roster as part of its campaign to increase its channel footprint in EMEA.

The service assurance and cybersecurity vendor has announced it has recruited Arrow Electronics (NYSE:ARW) to help grow its partner numbers in the UK, following the UK appointment of Mayflex earlier this month.

NetScout also launched a global partner programme, Connect360, a few days later, bringing together its previously separate channel strategies across its enterprise product range.

The multi-tiered programme now spans service assurance solutions and portable network analysis and troubleshooting tools.

As a Connect360 participant, Arrow Electronics initially plans to distribute a range of product families – OneTouch, LinkRunner, LinkSprinter, Link-Live, AirCheck, TruView, TruView Live, AirMagnet, and OptiView – that NetScout added in July 2015 as a result of its acquisition of Danaher Corporation’s Communications Business.

“As a result of NetScout’s acquisition of the Danaher Communications business in mid-2015, we now have an even broader range of market-leading products and technologies that we can offer to our customers through our extensive channel network,” comments Gary Staley, VP of worldwide channel sales for NetScout. “This programme will be a major driver of our vision for the future, helping the company to efficiently scale its business and address customer demand worldwide.”

Connect360 offers investment-based tiers, structured training and enablement, annual certification and a dedicated channel account team.

In addition, the MyNetScout partner portal provides partners with a convenient, one-stop online destination for accessing the NetScout solution knowledgebase, obtaining collateral materials, registering sales opportunities and applying for marketing event funds.

“With NetScout we on-boarded another highly-innovative vendor whose solutions offer a focused performance monitoring across several platforms, thus significantly simplifying infrastructure implementations,” comments Jesper Trolle, VP of sales, marketing and services at Arrow ECS EMEA.

“While cloud computing, big data, IoT and security solutions heavily grow in relevance, NetScout’s next-generation technologies assure the continued operation of the network and applications critical to this connected world.”

“Extending our successful relationship with Arrow as one of our key EMEA value-added distributors enables us to continue to do business with many former partners as well as leverage Arrow’s experience in this market to deepen our reach to customers who would otherwise not have access to our solutions,” says Staley.
