Telepresence and videoconferencing specialist Tandberg has awarded Dimension Data (LSE:DDT) Tandberg Platinum Partner status in the UK, the highest level of partnership that firm can receive.

The Platinum Partner status is based on training, customer support, facilities, volume of business and close working partnership with Tandberg on all customer accounts.

Accredited

Dimension Data has also been certified as an Accredited Service Partner by Tandberg, undergoing a stringent audit measuring its competency and ability to deliver the vendor’s branded services.

Says Ton van Horssen MD, Dimension Data UK: “Receiving this Platinum status and accreditation from Tandberg is significant in that businesses can be confident in the fact that we have the technical capabilities to deliver and support the solution they need, but they should take great comfort from the fact that we are using the technology ourselves, and that we welcome people in our offices to experience the technology for themselves.”

Case study

“Dimension Data has proven that it can integrate and support Tandberg solutions seamlessly, providing customers with a high-quality service and supporting them to achieve maximum return-on- investment,” adds Wayne Stephens, VP of Partners and Alliances, EMEA at Tandberg.

“Their commitment to videoconferencing themselves is exciting, in that they truly ‘get it’. They have deployed it, trained their users and are reaping cost and productivity benefits across the UK and Europe. They are themselves a great case study of how to benefit from videoconferencing. ”
