Extreme Networks honours Westcon

Gold medal

Extreme Networks has awarded Westcon Convergence with its International Distributor of the Year award at its Partner Conference in Barcelona.

“Extreme Networks is very supportive of our value added business model and channel enablement strategy, and it is an honour to be recognised as International Distributor of the Year,” says Westcon’s VP for Europe, David Grant. “This award is a testament to our ongoing commitment towards making resellers more competitive by arming them with the most advanced convergence solutions on the market today.”

He adds: “There are three main challenges facing resellers today: reducing costs, increasing productivity and gaining competitive advantage. With Extreme Networks we have a number of innovative technology solutions built to address these three key business needs.”

“Working closely with the channel and our distributors is key to Extreme Networks’ success,” says Extreme Networks’ channel director EMEA & SAM, Laurent Bourgninaud.

“Westcon has worked consistently to promote the Extreme Networks channel programme in the Pan European markets, offering outstanding marketing services. We presented this award to Westcon in recognition of its relationships, market knowledge and technology expertise across multiple countries and segments to the benefit of our customers and channel partners.”
