Dell makes changes to PartnerDirect programme

Dell has revealed a number of changes to its PartnerDirect channel programme to offer more incentives to its resellers.

The tech firm’s software division has unveiled a new accelerator programme for partners in Europe with rewards for partners with tiered level accelerators once qualifying revenue is met, in addition to the two percent base reseller rebate already offered. The programme now includes network security, data protection and endpoint systems management.

Its PartnerAdvantage programmed will enable partners to claim incentive reward points when selling selected server and storage products to new customers and completing eligible sales and pre-sales training courses with the Future-Ready Enterprise campaign. In addition, there is continued focus on selected cloud and convergence solutions, networking sales and supporting training courses with additional reward points, according to the firm.

For a limited time, partners will not have to pay any interest on amounts over $10. This offer will be available until the end of August and will allow Dell’s channel partners to benefit from a zero per cent interest rate on 12-month finance arrangements for any client solutions hardware and software deals.

Dell is also making more systems available for loan to allow partners to offer customers the chance to try out more than 3000 client solutions units and 1000 enterprise units. Partners can take advantage of free short-term loans to support existing deals and to accelerate the customer decision-making process.

Cheryl Cook, vice president of global channels and alliances at Dell, says: “Our new fiscal year has started with a bang, and I could not be prouder of our channel team and our partners for their continued commitment. We still have a lot of work to do to make this the best year yet for Dell’s partner programme, and I’m confident we are on the right track.”
