US storage vendor GreenBytes has added four new UK partners to its channel line-up: Enables IT, Cognitive Network Solutions, Intasel and Envertica.

The firm, which specialises in data deduplication storage based on solid-state disk (SSD) technology, says the new partnerships means further market penetration in the UK, with GreenBytes focusing on sales and marketing efforts for its flash-based high availability (HA) storage arrays for the midmarket.

“As a 100 percent channel-based company, GreenBytes relies heavily on its strong network of value added reseller partners to further our growth into the European market,” comments Paul Silver, vice president, EMEA, GreenBytes. “We are delighted to welcome these new partners to the team and look forward to working together.”

The vendor’s flagship product, Solidarity, is a high availability (HA), SSD array that features the proprietary GreenBytes GO OS (Globally Optimized Operating System), which it says enables midmarket customers to meet their primary and transactional storage needs including virtual infrastructure (VM/VDI) and databases, while claiming a significant reduction in power, cooling and rack space, as well as a lower acquisition cost and TCO.

“Enables IT is a leading provider of virtualised solutions, and it is fundamentally important that the technology which we provide meets the needs of our customers,” comments Martin Bradburn, technical director, Enables IT. “As a result, Enables IT conducts a rigorous testing process to ensure that we partner exclusively with the market’s most innovative technology providers.”

GreenBytes products are available throughout Europe from distributor Consolidate IT.
