Infortrend has penned a distribution agreement with Titan Data Solutions, in a move allowing Infortrend to increase its footprint in the EMEA region - a major part of the company's expansion strategy.

Titan will distribute Infortrend’s GS Unified Storage to the media and entertainment, high-performance computing (HPC), cloud and general IT industries, enabling firms to take advantage of high-performance storage media for storing vast swathes of information.

Infortrend explained that teaming up with Titan is in response to customer demand. Businesses are increasing demanding high-capacity hybrid storage and the company's unified storage systems can provide this.

“We’ve seen a major increase in demand for high capacity, cloud-based solutions, which have become essential to a wide range of businesses grappling with challenges in storing, managing and accessing data,” said Tony Howard, Northern EMEA Direct Sales Business Development Manager at Infortrend. “By extending our reach with Titan’s help, we aim to reach more businesses that can benefit from our product range.”

Titan will be tasked with growing Infortrend’s reseller network, helping it reach end-users in the enterprise space throughout the EMEA region.

“Infortrend is a perfect partner for Titan Data Solutions,” David Treadwell, solutions director at Titan said. “With no single point of failure, All Flash offering, Cloud Connect and Unified Storage platforms, Infortrend offers a diverse range of robust primary storage solutions, ideally suited for our Enterprise customer base.”

Infortrend’s GS Unified Storage is a single SAN and NAS storage device, offering cloud gateway features to offer enterprises a hybrid cloud environment.
