Exclusive Group and INFINIDAT collaboration brings InfiniBox to partners

Value-added distributor (VAD) Exclusive Group has teamed up with INFINIDAT in a new strategic distribution partnership that will provide partners with access to the InfiniBox platform.

The enterprise storage provider will now form part of Exclusive Group’s BigTec cloud transformation division, as the cooperation targets deeper market penetration across EMEA and Asia – particularly in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand in the Asia Pacific region, as well as the UK, the DACH region and France in EMEA.

INFINIDAT’s InfiniBox storage product provides businesses with a reliable, unified and scalable multi-petabyte platform that delivers ultra-high performance as well as a simple-yet-powerful management system.

“INFINIDAT is truly disruptive, using innovative software and machine learning science to deliver the elusive treble of enterprise storage: extreme performance, seven-nines reliability and easy-to-grow scalability – all from low-cost hardware within a minimal datacentre footprint,” said Andy Travers, SVP of worldwide sales and marketing at Exclusive Group.

“Partners quickly discover the InfiniBox platform is ideal for highly demanding storage applications, while its concept of storage-on-demand is the ultimate answer for the data growth demands of their customers. BigTec’s portfolio perfectly complements INFINIDAT’s solutions to address a multitude of cloud transformation project opportunities.”

Designed to meet the high-performance, availability, capacity and density needs of multi-petabyte data storage scenarios, INFINIDAT’s products help businesses to successfully achieve their digital transformation goals, the firm said.

Its technology is also well-suited to hybrid and multi-cloud customers that want to keep their data local - thanks to a lack of the usual performance, availability and cost trade-offs associated with multi-petabyte scale enterprise storage.

“BigTec provides INFINIDAT technical and business solutions exactly where we need them,” said Hanan Altif, EMEA Channel Director at INFINIDAT. “We are confident that the synergies between BigTec’s capabilities and INFINIDAT’s portfolio of solutions is a ‘win-win’ partnership.

“This cooperation will bring a significant competitive advantage to both our partners and customers in key markets.”
