Spectra Logic has announced enhancements to its channel partner programme, as the data storage and management firm looks to bring greater value to partners.

The SpectraEDGE programme now boasts an improved lead passing process that streamlines lead qualification and distribution to active resellers, as well as a simplified deal registration system.

Spectra has also revamped its partner portal to provide smoother access to its expanding library of resources, education, and content – including pre-written web copy and graphics for better search engine optimisation.

“Our goal is to help equip our partners with the best tools and resources to help them solve their customers’ data storage challenges by recommending Spectra’s best-in-class solutions as part of their portfolios,” said Betsy Doughty, vice president of corporate marketing at Spectra.

“Partner cooperation is a high priority at Spectra and today’s announcement further demonstrates our efforts to ensure our partners are successful.”

As part of the new deal registration and lead passing system, global opportunities and leads are now qualified and passed systematically to VARs swiftly via the new partner portal.

This password-protected, 24-hour hub enables partners to register and administer deal registrations, access leads and navigate their way through content, resources, webinars and other information, Spectra said.

Businesses also have access to a Web Content Starter Kit, which provides all the downloadable materials for them to build a Spectra showcase on their company website. Partners can then include pre-written and approved solution descriptions, as well as images, logos, branding guidelines, and copy.

There’s also a dedicated sales and marketing team, as well as a range of training materials and Spectra’s StorCycle Product Certification curriculum.

“Our channel programme is truly at the heart of our growing business, and now we’ve added an incredible amount of resources, focus and new team members o take our partner programme to the next level,” commented Darren King, North American Channel Sales Manager at Spectra.

“I’ve been a part of the Spectra team for almost 17 years and love working with our extended network of channel partners.”
