Tintri’s Sally Reade joins Violin Memory
Reade named new Violin Memory EMEA channel sales director

Violin Memory has recruited Tintri’s EMEA channel manager Sally Reade to direct its channel sales in the region.
The appointment comes as the storage vendor claims to be poised to expand its penetration of the $15bn global market for all-flash storage.
Reade has also had stints at Veeam, EMC and was one of the earliest employees of VMware in EMEA.
“With market-leading technology, an incredibly impressive customer list and a strong leadership team, Violin Memory is ideally placed to capture a significant share of the all-flash memory market,” says Reade. “As a 100 percent channel-only company in EMEA, our partners will be instrumental to our success. I am looking forward to working in close partnership with them to help unlock the potential of the all-flash market.”
Violin also this week unveiled its updated partner tool suite, which now includes sales enablement tools for quoting, sizing, calculating ROI, calculating de-dupe ratios, and for SQL server analysis.
Says Jeff Nollette, worldwide VP, channel sales at Violin Memory: “Sally brings a wealth of channel knowledge and industry experience to ensure our EMEA partners are fully supported to exploit the $15bn global opportunity in the all-flash enterprise datacentre.”
Violin now claims all five of the top software companies, six of the top ten telcos, four of the top ten banks and nine of the top 15 IT companies as customers.
