Logicalis has filled the empty spot on its board with the appointment Ben Gale as its UK managing director.

Head of Logicalis Europe, Arnaud Spirlet, took over the position after previous MD Mark Starkey left the firm in March.

Gale (pictured) joins Logicalis UK from Tensator Group where he was CEO. Before that, he worked as VP of The Logic Group, having previously been VP of NCR Corporation. He has also worked as national sales director for Reed Business Group and at Xerox, where he was general manager for EMEA.

Says CEO of Logicalis Group, Mark Rogers: “We are delighted to have Ben leading our UK business. He brings the industry knowledge and leadership skills required to navigate a changing UK market, where software, analytics and cloud are becoming ever more important to customers, and where Logicalis UK needs to have a strong market position.

“Arnaud Spirlet… has overseen the UK business for the past six months and has strengthened its management team and operational structure considerably during this period. I am confident that Ben will build on Arnaud’s successful stewardship and they will now work together to take the business, its customer relationships, solutions and services portfolio and vendor partnerships, to new levels of success.”
