HP reveals boosted professional-grade laptop lineup
All the machines feature the company's Sure Sense malware tools
HP has unveiled its latest suite of enterprise-level laptops and workstations, embedded with artificial intelligence to boost security in the workplace.
The newly announced HP EliteBook x360 830 G6, EliteBook 800, HP ZBook 14u and 15u will all feature the company's Sure Sense, which uses AI to predict malware threats in real time, even zero-days variations that haven't been experienced before.
HP's EliteBook x360 830 G6 features what HP claims is the brightest business convertible laptop around, with a display designed for all viewing conditions - even those exposed to sunlight. It also boasts Wi-Fi 6 wireless networking for faster data transfer (HP claims its three times faster than standard Wi-Fi).
The EliteBook 800 Series offers up to Gigabit 4G LTE, coupled with an eighth-generation Intel Core vPro processor and 1000 nits display that will also allow for crisp outdoor screen viewing. It also claims battery life of up to 18 hours.
HP's ZBook 14u is described as "the world's thinnest mobile workstation laptop". And both laptops sport Radeon Pro WX 3200 for taking care of graphically demanding tasks. The ZBook 14u sports 4K UHD display, while 15-inch ZBook 15u may have a larger screen, but the smaller model packs more pixels.
"To achieve a culture of innovation, companies everywhere are focused on driving employee engagement and satisfaction, and the technology they deploy plays a significant role," said Andy Rhodes, global head of commercial personal systems at HP Inc.
"We are helping businesses build the office of the future by delivering superior technology experiences that empower and delight today's workers, while providing IT departments next-generation endpoint security to confidently face the threats of tomorrow."
