8x8 has announced the launch of its new 8x8 Video MeetingsPro software. This all-new platform will focus on enhancing security and privacy for its users, positioning it as a worthy competitor to teleconference apps that have faced privacy issues over the last few weeks.
As video conferencing tools experience an increase in demand during the coronavirus pandemic, users and government agencies alike have been on the hunt for a secure teleconference platform. 8x8 Video MeetingsPro aims to be that solution.
Powered by Jitsi, an open-source community for secure video meetings, 8x8 Video MeetingsPro will run on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with privacy and security features at its absolute forefront.

Ringing in at $9.99 per user per month after a 30-day free trial, 8x8 Video MeetingsPro offers password-protected and randomly named meetings, real-time closed-captioning with post-call transcription, 60 days of cloud storage and the option to secure authorized attendees by using dial-out features.
