Provider of call management and VoIP call recording applications CTI Group recently held its annual 5-a-side football tournament. This year’s competition saw ten participating teams fighting for the winner’s Shield, which was ultimately collected by Cisco from the hands of Hayden The Womble, Wimbledon FC's official mascot.

The event which was hosted at Wimbledon Goals saw representatives including teams from CTI Group partners BT, Avaya, Redstone, i-hotdesk, Excell, Datapoint and Alternative Networks. Olivier Roguez was crowned Player of the Tournament, as nominated by the four independent referees for his excellent efforts as part of the ICAP team.

CTI Group hosts this annual partner event not only as a way to thank its partners for the previous twelve months’ business, but also act as an arena for attendees to network. Stephen Leahy, project manager at ICAP comments: “The partner event was a great night and our team really enjoyed themselves. In the current economic climate, there aren’t many of these kinds of networking events being organised, so we are grateful to CTI Group for this chance to not only show off our football skills, but also meet with other key players in the market and open up doors for new business opportunities.”

Warren Drummond, head of product and marketing, CTI Group comments: “The 5-a-side tournament is becoming more and more popular for our partners with each team getting more competitive every year. It’s a fun night of sport, but also opens up the chance for different partners, integrators and resellers to meet and catch up. We’ve received such positive feedback since the night, that we're hoping the competition will become a regular fixture in everyone’s diary. We’d recommend partners sign up for the next year’s tournament soon to avoid disappointment!”
