LogMeIn has announced the release of its new GoTo brand, which now incorporates the software-as-a-service (SaaS) firm’s full unified communications and collaboration (UCC) suite of products.

Alongside its flagship GoToMeeting and GoToWebinar services, the revamped portfolio will also feature the company’s first ever truly integrated UCC product in the form of GoToConnect, as well as new conference room service GoToRoom.

LogMeIn’s UCC range already supports over 28 million users a month and almost 20 billion voice minutes per year, and demand for all-in-one cloud-based services is rising. By unifying its best-in-class meetings, rooms, voice and webinars products under the new GoTo brand, the company says it is better positioned to meet customer needs.

“End users in an organization are demanding a single, simple, consumer experience for all their audio, video, and chat communications – whether on mobile, desk phone, desktop, or in-room,” said Mark Strassman, SVP and general manager of UCC at LogMeIn. “At the same time, IT leaders and business owners want a single deployment and management experience from a single partner that they can trust to help them manage their complex UCC needs.

“Our new UCC solution is simple, elegant, intuitive and backed by a trusted global brand to meet the needs of business leaders and end-users. Today’s announcement brings the best of LogMeIn’s meetings, webinars, and room solutions, and integrates it with its award-winning cloud telephony and messaging solutions, all under one brand - GoTo.”

LogMeIn’s first new product under the new branding, GoToConnect, will be available in North America from early April before an international release later in the year.

GoToConnect bundles together powerful audio, video and screen-sharing capabilities, as well as cloud-based telephony. It’s a fully-integrated application for workers to communicate internally and externally, the firm said, with web browser access or a desktop app bringing together professional web, audio and video conferencing, presence, VoIP calling, text messaging, visual voicemail and more.

The company also announced its new conference room product GoToRoom, which has been designed to transform medium-sized meeting spaces into fully-fledged collaboration spaces with all the necessary hardware.

Available in multiple package options, businesses can opt for the system that best fits their budget, taking advantage of handy features such as one-click meetings and Microsoft Outlook, Calendar and Office 365 syncing.
