Ingram Micro strikes distribution deal with Snom
Unified communications is now one of Ingram Micro's fastest growing business sectors
Ingram Micro has announced a new partnership with Unified Communications and Collaborations (UCC) technology provider Snom Technology, as the distributor moves to expand its UCC portfolio.
A globally recognised manufacturer of IP telephones for the business and industrial sectors, Snom offers customers an extensive product portfolio alongside a comprehensive partner programme.
With remote working becoming even more prominent over the past few months, Snom provides a key part of the channel ecosystem that is now pivotal to business success, Ingram Micro said.
“We are excited to kick-start our strong partnership with Snom and expand our extensive UCC portfolio as Ingram Micro’s UCC business unit is one of our fastest-growing areas,” commented Scott Murphy, director of Cloud, UCC, and Cyber Security at Ingram Micro UK&I.
“With the exponential growth and elevated demand for UCC in the current climate, we are dedicated to supporting our partners with the best-in-class technology – that combined with our UCC professional and financial services and leveraging the vast portfolio, we will enable partners to meet client needs.”
Since its voice-over-IP (VoIP) and telephony beginnings back in 1997, Snom has quickly grown into a global top brand for ICT solutions. With a 360-degree approach, the firm says its success is based on an all-round strategy that “serves the needs of customers and partners holistically”.
Snom’s IP deck, conference, and DECT cordless phones come equipped with a wide range of functions and high-end audio quality, with some models also tailored specifically for challenging environments – such as healthcare, production or desk sharing.

Ultimately, the provider says it aims to arm customers with best-in-class products that conform to their needs, whilst also boosting business opportunities and sales margins within the channel.
“We’re delighted to partner with such a leading distributor as Ingram Micro,” said Lee Fletcher, channel manager UK&I at Snom Technology GmbH. “Their expertise and knowledge of the technology market will allow more UK customers to access Snom’s first-class technology and take advantage of the high-end audio quality on offer from our portfolio of desk, conference and DECT phones.”
