snom sets its sights on UK IP telephony market
Renewed UK focus stems from IP-PBX acquisition

IP telephony vendor snom AG has unveiled a new UK focus following its acquisition of IP-PBX specialist pbxnsip that will see ex- CEO of pbxnsip, Jonathan Greenwood, heading up the newly-formed snom UK Ltd.
“We’re all very excited about the start of snom UK Ltd. The market for IP telephony solutions in the UK is constantly growing, and we are looking to capitalise on this growth,” says Greenwood. “With this renewed focus on the UK market, we are confident that we will be able to capitalise on our previous success in the United Kingdom.”
“The UK is a large and interesting market in which we have always had a presence, but by creating snom UK Ltd and opening an office there, we are better able to take advantage of the opportunities it presents. The IP telephony space in Britain is constantly expanding, and as a result we have significant growth plans for snom UK Ltd over the coming year,” adds Dr. Michael Knieling, CFO, snom AG.
Snom says the creation of snom UK Ltd will be supported throughout the coming year by a range of additional activities and announcements.
