"Come In We're Hiring" red sign

Westcon-Comstor has confirmed the appointment of Garry Boon as general manager for the company’s Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) practice.

Boon (pictured) was most recently vice president, GTM and field strategy, at 3D printing firm Stratasys, where he developed its channel business. Prior to that he was a director at Channel Enablers, a global provider of training, development and consulting services for channel sales teams.

“Garry brings invaluable know-how to Westcon,” says Tony Nevill, managing director, UK & Ireland, Westcon-Comstor. “His proven ability to drive fast growth and build long-term profitable channel relationships will be a great asset to the company.”

“I joined Westcon-Comstor because of their reputation as a dynamic and proactive company,” says Boon. “They stand out for a best-in-class portfolio and excellence in services delivery, plus great relationships with both vendors and solution providers. It all adds up to a tremendous platform for driving unparalleled growth. I am excited to explore how we can add new services to generate more opportunities and increased profit potential for the channel.”

The distributor has six other practices: security, networking, datacentre, cloud, services and global deployment.
