iOS 7.1.1 available to download
Touch ID improved and security flaws get patched with latest mobile update

Apple has rolled out a minor iOS 7 update to iPhones and iPads, with the aim of patching security holes and improving Touch ID.
iOS 7.1.1 also aims to fix a keyboard bug and issues when connecting a Bluetooth keyboard. Another useful feature is the ability to see which applications have the option for in-app purchases before you buy them.
This will be particularly useful for parents who are often stung by large bills when children download apps and get carried away with in-app purchases.

Apple has detailed the security patches in full. iOS 7.1.1 will fix multiple problems with the aim of stopping hackers from bypassing the kernel and hijacking data while it is being transported.
The 26MB update is available to download now for iPhone 4+, iPad 2+ and fifth generation iPods. Go to Settings > General > About to check for a software update.
