Moto 360 price and specs confirmed by Best Buy
Android Wear smartwatch yet to get an official release date
US retailer Best Buy has revealed the forthcoming Moto 360 smartwatch will be priced at $250.
In an online posting, screen grabbed by Droid Life, Best Buy also revealed the specifications of the device.
The watch has been confirmed to have a 1.5in backlit LCD touch screen (320 x 290) made from Gorilla Glass 3. Motorola has built in an optical heart-rate monitor, pedometer and vibration alert. The device will also be waterproof up to 3 feet for 30 minutes, with owners able to wear the device while swimming.
Users will be able to control the device using the touch screen or through voice commands. The Moto 360 can also be synced with other devices via Bluetooth 4 connectivity. Best Buy claimed the watch will be compatible with "most devices with Android 4.3 or later" although none were specified.
Details on battery life and processor were kept to a minimum. The specification page simply stated the smartwatch will come with a built-in lithium-ion battery pack and a Texas Instruments processor.
The $250 price makes the Moto 360 the most expensive Android Wear smartwatch to-date. The LG G Watch costs $229 and the Samsung Gear Live retails at $199.99.
An official release date was also missing from the page, with the listing claiming the device was "coming soon".
