Apple App Store: Top 10 reasons why apps are rejected
Developers get guidance on how the approval process works

The Apple App Store is one of the most popular app ecosystems available, with 1.2 million apps and over 75 billion downloads to-date.
However, getting an app into the store isn't straightforward as it has to be vetted. To help budding developers get their creations in the marketplace, Apple has now revealed the top 10 reasons apps are rejected.
Most of the advice appears to be common sense, but it serves as a useful checklist if you're planning on making a submission.
"Before you develop your app, it's important to become familiar with the technical, content, and design criteria that we use to review all apps," Apple explained in the developer section.
"We've highlighted some of the most common issues that cause apps to get rejected to help you better prepare your apps before submitting them for review."
Top of the list of reasons for rejection is that 14 per cent developers simply don't provide enough information - including details for demo accounts and contact information.
Buggy apps, violations of terms of conditions, inaccurate descriptions and substandard interfaces are also common reasons. Click on the image below for a complete breakdown.

"You should submit your app for review only when it is complete and ready to be published. Make sure to thoroughly test your app on devices and fix all bugs before submitting," Apple continued.
"Apple places a high value on clean, refined, and user-friendly interfaces. Make sure your UI meets these requirements by planning your design carefully and following our design guides and UI Design Dos and Don'ts.
