Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 on sale in India: price, features, specs
New smartphone can also be bought online in the UK

The new Xiaomi's Redmi Note 4, which was launched in January, has just gone on sale in India. The phone can be purchased online in the UK for 178.
The specs of the Redmi Note 4 do not differ greatly from its predecessor, the Note 3, but the new device does show a design upgrade with a 2.5D arced glass screen and tapered edges. The smart fingerprint recognition button will still appear on the back of the phone as it did on the Note 3. The Note 4 runs on a 4100mAh battery and Snapdragon 625, an octa-core processing chip that is 20% more power efficient than the Note 3.
The Redmi Note 4 features a dual SIM configuration, allowing users to insert one additional SIM or TF card. The phone has several memory versions to choose from, offering up to 64GB of storage. The device comes in three finishes black, gold, and dark grey.
The high-resolution 5.5in FHD screen display can be manually modified for different uses such as reading, watching videos or using visually intense apps. The reading mode is supposed to change the screen colour to that of the page and reduce blue light, aiming to protect the user's eyes.
The phone features a 13.0MP high-speed rear-facing camera with a dual-tone flash and a 5.0MP front camera. The device's main camera also features 5 lenses, f2.0 aperture, and PDAF technology.
