Apple partnering with Accenture for business apps on iOS
The companies will develop the tools to make it easier for businesses to migrate legacy apps and create immersive apps

Apple and Accenture will partner up on an app development practice that will build software to help businesses engage better with their customers.
Accenture's part of the deal is to create a dedicated iOS development practice under its Accenture Digital Solutions division, while Apple will contribute manpower within the subdivision.
The two companies will launch tools for iPhone and iPad that unlock the capabilities of the platform, enabling organisations to migrate their existing legacy apps to iOS, connect back end systems and IoT integration technologies to help Accenture's clients create more immersive experiences for end-users.
"Starting 10 years ago with iPhone, and then with iPad, Apple has been transforming how work gets done, yet we believe that businesses have only just begun to scratch the surface of what they can do with our products," said Tim Cook, Apple's CEO.
"Both Apple and Accenture are leaders in building incredible user experiences and together we can continue to truly modernise how businesses work through amazing solutions that take advantage of the incredible capabilities of Apple's technologies."
The tools will combine Apple's app development expertise including visual and experience designers, programmers, data architects and scientists, and hardware and software designers with Accenture's digital and analytics capabilities to create truly innovative apps.
"Based on our experience in developing mobile apps, we believe that iOS is the superior mobile platform for businesses and are excited to be partnering with Apple," Pierre Nanterme, Accenture's chairman and CEO added.
