TCA lifts lid on new Reseller Forum

The Technology Channels Association (TCA) is set to unveil a joint venture between the TCA and CompTIA, the UK Reseller Forum.

Adam Harris, TCA chief executive, explains: “The Forum gives resellers a place to share their experiences and best practice, and they can do so via a LinkedIn group as well as physically at various events hosted by CompTIA and the TCA and through live online meetings. A couple of informal events have already taken place and have been very well received. The Reseller Forum can also be the base level of a CompTIA accreditation path for resellers, should they wish.”

The Forum will feature as part of the TCA’s annual conference next Thursday, February 25 at the Walker Stadium in Leicester.

The plenary sessions of the day-long TCA Conference features speakers from a variety of technology backgrounds, including an interview with David Atherton, founder of dabs.com, who went on to sell the firm to BT.

The event is open to all vendors, distributors and reseller to attend and is free for TCA members. Places must be booked in advance. It will also feature a PR masterclass and a ‘pitch and bitch’ session in which resellers can raise their frustrations and give their view of the market in an open forum.
