Encryption specialist DESlock has signed Insight as its 25th directly managed channel partner.
The news follows a successful recruitment campaign launched with the arrival of Kevin Percy as its new UK business development manager.
“When I first joined we had resellers we dealt with mostly through distribution and only two signed direct. We now have 25 of all shapes and sizes signed to us and more coming in each day,” says Percy, who joined the firm last September from antivirus vendor ESET UK.
The latest partner to sign up is Insight, of which a “delighted” Percy comments, “It makes sense for the team at Insight to be able to offer encryption as part of its portfolio, and be able to offer customers a fully integrated service.”
Launched in 2006, DESlock’s flagship product Deslock+ offers FIPS 140-2 validated data encryption software for protecting hard disks as well as removable media such as memory sticks and compact disks.
Insight joins a clutch of top tier VARS that have formally partnered with DESlock including Probrand, Trustmarque, Computacenter, Kelway, Phoenix Software, Equanet and Centerprise.
