Imation launches new partner programme
New mobile security-focused programme launched for EMEA resellers

Data storage and security vendor Imation (NYSE: IMN) has unveiled a new partner programme focusing on mobile security.
The launch of the Imation Mobile Security programme follows the firm’s recent addition of the MXI and IronKey brands to its Defender Collection portfolio. As a result, the firm has expanded its offering to include FIPS, CAPS, AIVD and NATO certified portable storage devices, digital identity products and secure portable computing devices.
The new programme follows a traditional three-tiered structure of Platinum, Gold and Silver partners. IT provides, says the firm, incentives for partner investment and performance, enhanced technical support, training and certifications within the Imation Mobile Security product range.
Says Nick Banks, director of sales EMEA & APAC for Imation Mobile Security: “Imation Mobile Security has rapidly expanded its customer base and has ambitious plans for growth over the next three years.
“As a 100 percent channel-focused vendor, our channel partners will play an instrumental role in this expansion and are integral to its success.”
IDC and Gartner report value the global market for secure portable storage and authentication in excess of $5bn.
