German video security vendor MOBOTIX AG has added a new distributor to its UK line-up, NBM Distribution Ltd, a specialist supplier of data network cabling architecture and security products.
NBM joins existing distributors Mayflex and ADI Global, which serve MOBOTIX’s current base of 150 active partners in the UK.
“MOBOTIX provides us with the missing piece of our strategy to offer a complete converged infrastructure product portfolio that stems from the network edge to the core,” explains Danny Kindell, managing director of NBM Distribution.
“We looked at a number of vendors and it became clear that MOBOTIX delivered both the image and product quality that our channel community expects along with the depth of training and support to help our partners implement IP based CCTV systems.”
Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, NBM supplies products to 450 data cabling installers, IT professionals and security specialists across the UK. It carries stock of structured cabling, switching, racking and security products from vendors including Brand-Rex, Hellermann Tyton, Prism Enclosures, Allied Telesis, Ackermann, Fujikura, Ideal, Unite by Panduit, Psiber, Cablelay, and Rittal.
“NBM is a highly regarded and focused distribution partner and the fact that they are only offering MOBOTIX based CCTV is a testament to the faith they have in our products and the potential we both feel that this agreement offers,” says Dominic Chapman, UK& Ireland country manager for MOBOTIX UK.
“MOBOTIX is not an over saturated product and has many unique technical advantages such as its decentralised architecture which simplifies installation and reduces ongoing management overheads,” says Sean Donaldson, sales director for NBM Distribution.
