Sophos strikes UK distribution agreement with Arrow Electronics
Arrow will distribute the firm's complete portfolio of business security solutions and services
Global cyber security provider Sophos has announced a new distribution agreement with Arrow Electronics in the UK.
A first in the country for Sophos, the deal will see Arrow distribute the firm's complete portfolio of business security solutions and services, which are designed to protect users from the wide spectrum of cyber attacks.
“This is an exciting time for Sophos as we begin working alongside our first UK distributor,” commented Jonathan Bartholomew, vice president of sales Northern Europe at Sophos. “At Sophos, we always strive to provide an excellent service, and this step will allow us to develop even stronger growth relationships.”
Sophos provides a range of AI-powered, cloud-based cyber security solutions, which includes its recently launched Extended Detection and Response (XDR) offerings.
These solutions make up part of the Sophos adaptive cyber security ecosystem (ACE), a new open security architecture designed to optimise threat prevention, detection and response.
As a result of the new distribution agreement, Arrow will offer Sophos’ entire business portfolio, including ACE, which leverages automation and analytics, as well as the collective input of Sophos products, partners, customers, developers and other vendors.
Arrow will support in the scale of Sophos’ operations by introducing automated ordering, cloud marketplaces, as well as new finance options.

The move will also allow the Sophos sales team to jointly focus on providing new projects and support, further building customer trust and increasing revenue, the firm said.
